...it just looks like a one piece driveshaft, why do you need a pic? :thefinger:

i just used the slip and the end flange from my stock driveshaft and had a custom one made.

beef, ill bet you have a 2 piece DS, you will have a propeller shaft coming out of the t-case and then a main DS to the 3rd member

i hate carrier bearings

i did untill i got a custom one piece made (see pic a few posts up).

this is what happened to my carrier bearing after the lift.

the one piece fits fine without clearance issues over the crossmember where the carrier bearing used to be. i do have a center limiting strap on the rear axle that limits overall droop, which helps. also, my custom shaft is thicker (material and diameter) then what came from the factory.

one thing to keep in mind when going with a custom length, is that a long travel leaf setup is going to pull the driveshaft out of the slip at full stuff, and a link setup is going to push the driveshaft in at full stuff. space the slip appropriately, otherwise you will damage the seal and piss fluid or gear oil.

Im gonna barge into this thread cause I need to get rid of my 2 peice. Beef, did you just use the factory slip yoke and get a "retube" to one piece? That would be much easier then monkeying with a SYE and a spline shaft. Heck with the lathe at work I could prolly make one...

i think but not positive that onlyonedr has done it
i know a few others but i cant remember who off the top of my head

all v-6 TX-10 t-cases are the same except the older ones with the 2" chain , so no matter what the output shaft will be the same so the slip yoke will be the same
the yoke flange on the end of the driveshaft is the same bolt pattern on pretty much all the h233b axles
so the only thing left would be the length of the driveshaft , as far as i know the cc short bed 4x4 has the same wheel base as a kc long bed so there shouldnt be any issues with driveshaft lengths

yeah, i figured that, but what about manual and auto tranny length differences?

I can confirm that the 2004 models ( I would assume 01-04 are the same) wheelbases are the same for regular CC and KC. Both are 116.1 inches.

The long bed CC has a 131.1 inch wheelbase. All are 71.2 inches wide.
