Six years overseas and I finally got to drive one. Must've stalled it 3 times, putting it into 6th gear, when I was trying to find reverse...
The diesel feels like it has more power than the Toyota Hilux

Would like to know more about your comparison Nissan/Hilux. I love my 14 np300/frontier diesel. Im about to buy another truck for my fleet 4x4 hilux 12 or 2013. With the peso so low now I can pick up one for less then 7 grand US.

What are the engine spec. numbers - hp, torque, etc.?

If you mean for my 14 Nissan it is 131hp @3,600 Torque 224 @ 2,000 Diesel It does not sound like much,but they all have 4.62 ratio diffs in 4x4. They run real strong,on last 4x4 run I towed a racing,5,000 pound Blown Bronco.For 50 miles of deep sand,Baja race course up and down mountains,at speeds of 50mph in the sand. The red line is 4,800 rpm that is lot for a diesel its 2.5. The late model Navara (in the US its the frontier 05 on) Has same motor but Hi HP. I could chip mine,no need as Speed on Baja roads way less then US.
