has any one rocked the hannemann fenders or hood unpainted (ie left just the plain gel coat on it)? if you did, did the fiberglass "stain" (like mud left an actual stain when washed off) or did it turn yellow?

i really am thinking of getting one... but i dont wanna have it painted

Sand, primer, spray paint... it's pretty easy

i can do that... im referring to clear coating it and getting a nice gloss coat (like the rest of the truck) ... that of which already comes with the gel coat

you do know that gel coat is on almost every fiberglass boat and they dont stain easily. just clean it with a good cleaner and hit it every once and a while with the gel coat specific wax and you should be GTG.

Didn't mustard and Nizmut run unpainted fenders thru a bunch of stuff (snow to mud to sand to etc...) and they still looked white. I would imagine it would be fine but like mylt said, hit it with a gelcoat wax type of item from time to time and it should be good. If it stains, then just paint it then, lol.
