Are you still thinking about doing this trip? I was planning to do the Mojave Rd (east-to-west) during the week between Christmas and New Years and was waiting to see if there was any activity on any of the other threads mentioned above before I posted. I was planning to do it in two days, camping at Mid Hills and then probably at Afton Canyon the last night. Never done the road before, so I figured it'd be good to have at least one other truck with me.
FEELER: Mojave Rd
I would like to plan to do this run one of the first 2 weekends in December. I wanted to put this feeler out for anyone that would like to join. I know there was a thread for a trip to Mojave Rd this past January (http://www.clubfrontier.org/forums/f34/mojave-rd-01-10-a-46713/), so if any of those that went want to chime in, please do. I have never organized something like this before, but I was reading the thread and I really wanted to go. Please add your name to the list of people who are interested and I will firm up the details in the near future
