So I started emailing dealers in my area about the truck I want. SE CC 4x2 Auto w/Pwr, bed extender, mats, tow hitch.

Here is the first quote I got:
SE CC 4x2 Auto
Pwr, sliding extender, mats, tow, sunroof, ABLS, side airbags. Blk w/steel
$24,448
I just emailed them back asking if it was before or after the $1000 rebate.

What you guys think?
Ps. I am not going to buy the truck on impluse, I just want to know where I should be shooting at with this and the rest of the stealerships, oops dealerships. I can wait but only about 3 weeks.

I got your email response today. The reason why the MSRP is more, is becuase you are not including the extras that the dealership pre-installs on all of they're vehicles. Every dealership adds Automate (paint protection) which is $600 retail, the security plus system (pre-installed alarm) $490 retail, and wheel locks ($200 retail). If you total this out, it comes to $1,290 on top the MSRP. These come on all Nissan vehicles. But, that's where I'm saving you the money my friend. I'm giving you everything at less than dealer cost. At dealer cost on all of these extras included, your looking at an additional $700 which will make the car $24,955 at MSRP (plus the add ons at dealer cost). I'm saving you an additional $467 with all those things included.

Is there any truth to this???

Ok the paint protection and the wheel locks I can see were there coming from, but the factory alarm, is bogus reaso for that it does not even have a starter kill option so your alarm will go off but they could still get away with the car. They do the same thing in the South East, at some dealerships. Its a good deal your getting but I would still shop around, if they want your business they will compete to you will win in the end!

Well I bought the truck this Sunday :D I went to another dealer and asked if they could match the price since the first dealer was about 55 miles away. They said they would give me the truck $500 less. I told them I would think about it and called the first dealer. He said he would give me the truck at $23,500 before the rebate. The new dealer would not match it so I drove down to Superior Nissan of Puente Hills and got it for $22,500. I really like this truck
