I bought the 7 pin adapter to attach to a boat trailer. The turn signals and brake lights work but not the running lights. Had the truck at 3 repair shops today and they don't know what the problem is. Called our local dealer twice with out any satisfaction. Can anyone help?Thank you.

Welcome to the club!

I have to ask since you didn't specify but, did you install the relays under the passenger side kick panel as well?

If you didn't get the OEM Nissan harness, it is not going to work properly. I know this from experience. The OEM harness comes with 2 relays (3 if your MT) that must be installed under the passenger kick panel. There are empty slots under there but you kinda have to dig for them. It's been well documented that no wiring harness works 100% on these trucks except for the OEM Nissan harness.

I've installed the OEM on my 07 and 2010. Sometime the connector socket for the relays is wrapped under the metal bracket under the Pass. side kick panel. Without the relays nothing will work, get the Nissan 7 pin kit $50-$65 complete

I want to thank everyone for their help. I called our local dealer again this morning and they said to bring the truck in. They sold us the correct wiring harness with the relays and we got it on and all lights work fine. We wouldn't have had such a hassel if the person my husband spoke to yesterday at our dealer's would have told us to bring it in yesterday instead of sending us to the welding shop where they have the hitches installed. Oh, well, just another bump in lif. Thanks again!:goodjob:

Welcome to Club Frontier. Nice too know it's been resolved.
Now that you found us feel free to stop by often and learn anything and everything you need to know about your truck.
There are some very knowledgeable members here as you already know.
How about telling us where you're from and some info on your truck?
