hey all,

got my Pioneer DVD4200 installed and looking to FINALLY sell my factory HU.

what i have is the 6CD head-unit with Pro-4X dash plate ONLY (dark charcoal color), this is NOT the Rockford/Fosgate head-unit.

i bought my truck in January and was taken out YESTERDAY (04/17/10) and as of yesterday morning the XM trial period was still active!

no defects at all besides just a little dusty - looking for $250 SHIPPED

Might be interested! Just wondering about the Aux input, would that also be coming with the unit? That's the reason why I want a new radio I want to plug the I pod in lol! And do you got any pics of your new head unit and how it looks?

the AUX input on my PRO is acutally in the dash next to the glove compartment so it stays with the truck

this is before i switched to the black Metra dash kit = looks alot better with the black & gotta take pics tonight with the black kit installed and post them in my gallery

Ok! See that's my problem with going after-market with the head unit! The dash kits don't come in the right color! Nobody makes a dash-kit with our color? And that's why i was thinking staying factory, but with the Aux you know what i mean? Your head unit is SICK man!

well - you do have a few options:

1 - stay stock

2 - look into those stick on dash kits which are pretty expensive @ $225

3 - if you have a local hobby/model shop around you, TESTORS may have a paint close to the color you are looking for and will hold on the plastic

4 - look into getting it dipped - someone on here actually has a post up after he did his but dont think he is willing to do it as a side business

i know it sucks that Metra only has the light gray and black dash kit but it is what it is - painting it does work but i wasnt able to find the exact color i needed at Lowes or Home Depot
