okay so i just sold my bike and have a few extra $$ just got a C.A.I and some off road lights. so i have 200 bucks for an EXHAUST. so my ?? is can i get an exhaust with the amount that i have ??? if u guys can help me out with links or point me the right way. also im in los angeles .

Im sure you can get a muffler shop to help you out with something.... it wont be a full cat-back system but you can throw a better muffler and tailpipe on....shop around!

you should be able to get a shop to build you a cat back for that or not much over it

My advice is: Be patient! Keep watching the parts tread and wait till someone sells a used Cat back. I bought mine for $225 with shipping, and have seen them on here for $150. Just depends on the situation.

Don't bother with a whole system for now. Just take your $200, start by getting a shop to make you a new Y pipe, then if funds are still reasonable just get a muffler swapped in for your stock. The Y pipe will give the best gains for power, and the muffler will give a better sound. $200 wouldn't even get me a muffler installed where I am, but im sure LA has gota have more shops than we do here.

I had a cat-back system installed for $190 near where I am, but mine also dumps before the rear axle.
It might still be possible for you though, depending on shop labor charges.

gibson is no cat back. your paying for bigger pipe ater the Y which gets you little performance.

and besides that one is for a long bed crew cab and wouldn't work on a short bed
