Hey everyone, I am getting a pass with the Jackson Guard and going to wheel the Eglin Range. I am wondering if I could talk to someone that is familiar with the area. There are so many pull offs and dirt roads everywhere that I am not sure where a good place to start would be. I searched the forums here and came up with some threads but all were from 2012 and older, then I found there is a group called "Third Coast Nissans" but all the search results for that were also 7-8+ years old also. I'll be going with my wife and kids so I won't be up for meeting anyone until I am able to head out without the family, which is also hopefully soon.

I retired out of Hurlburt back in 2011. I can't give current info cause I moved outa state in 2014, but I suggest always getting the range open/close schedule before heading out. Lots of stuff goes on training wise out there. I've had lots of fun wheeling and hunting out there. Good luck.

I ended up finding a couple guys from work willing to go along. We didn't really get too deep into the range but found a couple places with sand deep enough to use 4x4. My kids had a blast, though they did have more fun throwing the Frisbee around and walking around the pond and stuff than driving. That's to be expected I guess, kids are pretty little still.

Anyway on to the all important pictures...
