Buy them for the $115 and you're 45 dollars ahead but then there's shipping so why not just buy them from Auto Zone and keep a local store in business.

I agree there.... I have bought the u-joints, brakes, rotors, and other stuff from there and advance auto ( except for the fuel sending relay, that was dealer only) and would rather buy local, even if its a little more, but $30-45consider this.
AZ is a national chain with major buying power.
Talk to the manager. tell him you can get these shocks online for $115 plus shipping (be prepared to show him the website), Ask him to mark them down to $120 for the business. His store wont make the same profit, but then you will go back to see his business when you need a good deal on something else.
