i would use what they reccomend for original replacement, the scientists at nissan have already decided that what they put in there will work best, everything else is just a gimmock to make money on some suckers, gold platnum irraidium copper all respond diffrently to varied heat range and time exposed to that heat range, some last longer than others some do not, make your own choice, just make thge right one

I tried them on my VWs and they were crap on those cars so I am not trying them again. I'll stick to my bosch for the VW and NGK for the frontier thank you.

and with how easy it is to find iridium ngk on the internet for $10 a piece why not just get them. $60 bucks every 100k miles shouldn't really break the bank for anyone or be hard to justify. nissans come with ngk for a reason, because they are the best which is the same reason that mercury puts them in their 1200hp boat motors

I bet the bean counters had as much to say about the NSK as the engineers.
I would also bet NSK is quite competitive with OEMs as any other. just gouge replacement parts.

Personally, I have seen tons of instances with the E3 plugs not firing at all or misfiring in small engines (lawn tractors, weedeaters, etc) and just from that refuse to try it in my truck... My dad and I installed Platinum plugs in an older Nissan truck some years ago and got great performance out of them. Just make sure it's a good name brand not some "house" brand...
