So I have a 2015 frontier sv v6 crew cab and I would like to fit it with dual exhaust. I have no idea what to get or what I'm doing. Ive seen some people with flowmast 40 series. Theres an option for a O/C or O/O (whatever that means), also when I go to select model all they have listed is the Titan? Plz help.

Not necessarily stock, ditch the y-pipe is all.

V6's generally sound like a swarm of bees with dual exhaust.

FM 40 drone is terrible at highway speeds.

You may need to pull the spare. Pretty pleased with my CB FM 50 with side exit ss tips. I'd have a local shop install.

Drone is tolerable and added a FM muffler heat shield which toned it down a bit more. Doors have Dynamat considering doing the back wall but sound still comes in through the windows.....all depends on your comfort level.

Low end will probably suffer also. I run dual exhaust but it was the easiest way to replace a crushed y pipe and to gain more ground clearance.Helmet is wired for intercom so drone is not a problem.

Define true duals?

If running 'true duals' with two mufflers to opposite sides, then the plumbing for the driver's side will need to be routed around the spare tire requiring circuitous/longer overall piping. Removing or relocating the spare tire is an alternative.

Not sure if this resonates as 'true duals', but running two mufflers thru two tailpipes with BOTH exiting out of the passenger side (somewhere) is an alternative.

True Duals: is two separate pipes from the headers all the way back to exit the exhaust.

Some people argue this set up sounds much better than a Catback single in/dual out set up(what I have), but for a 6 banger? My future '68 Camaro SS will have true duals.......:)

Good luck OP in your search.

Agreed, but some will LIKELY disagree. lol
What do you call it when an H- or X- Pipe is added in to this setup? New and improved True Duals??

Haha oh no doubt. I'd call it what it is....mid-pipe. Gone are the days of straight "True Duals" with no cross connection.
