Have you guys ever replaced your door hinge pins? Mine are so wore out now that the door switch triggers on and off from the breeze going down the road. I can't seem to find a source for the things in an online search (haven't called the dealership yet).

Thanks in advance!

are you talking about he "open door" light? and are you taking about the hinges that hold the doors on? because the open door sensor is near the locking mechanism on the opposite side of the door. the hinges would have to be ridiculously loose to trigger the door open light.

Just called the dealership today...the hinges are not serviceable, and are $50/ea. At least they're only bolted on, so it should be a relatively easy job.

The hinges are for sure blown out. When I open the door I can move it up and down a pretty significant amount.

Little update...I noticed the catch on the pillar was just about ready to fall out. I'll be checking those screws for sure at oil changes now. I tightened that up, but the hinge is still shot (probably from the loose catch for so long).

I called the dealership, got a different guy at the parts department, and this time the hinges were only $16/ea. I confirmed the application...and prepaid right away.
