I just traded my 05 Titan a week ago for my Frontier and I am really liking it. It's a tighter fit(I'm 6'6") but I wanted something with better mileage and more maneuverable around town. I hated trying to park that beast. I miss the growl and low end grunt but over-all driving the Frontier is much more fun. I wish they had the same wheel bolt pattern because the grey 18" 5-spokes on my Titan would look great on the Frontier. I'm shopping for wheels now and will probably do an intake and exhaust like I did on the Titan.

Welcome to the forum. glad you like the Frontier....too bad gas prices are crazy and is understandable why you downsized. good luck on the mods and the 05 frontiers bolt pattern do make it tricky to find some aftermarket rims.

Welcome to the board. I was contemplating purchasing a Titan but I decided against it for the same reasons you got rid of yours. Glad you are enjoying your Frontier. What is the bolt pattern on the new Frontier's anyhow? I can fit a lot of different wheels on my 2000.

The bolt pattern is 6x4.5" and I have seen a few at Discount Tire Direct and there quite a few with that pattern on the Centerline site. I think the trick will be the offset and front caliper clearance. With some quick and dirty measurements it looks like a 8.5" width will work with a 10-25mm offset. I've found MB Motoring has several 18 and 20" wheels with that size, offset, and bolt pattern and at pretty good prices. You can search DiscountTireDirect wheels by bolt pattern and go from there.

The only thing that I think I'll really miss about the Titan is how effortlessly it towed my Cobra. Hopefully I won't be towing it too often and the car only weighs 2200lbs. so I'm sure the Frontier will do fine. You could barely tell it was behind the Titan. The gas mileage just dropped to 13mpg.

Is that a real cobra or replica? Looks great from the picture.
It's a replica(Factory Five Racing) with a EFI 460 big block and a Tremec TKO 5-speed. Thanks.
