NICE!

Gotta shot of where/how the collectors run; is that w/o forward cats on a stock muffler?

Nice dude. I love my doug thorley long tube header on my 4 banger. And as for the video, I really liked the last 10 seconds. hahaha. full throttle is where you hear it.

Are you gonna increase piping size at all and put a new muffler on? or just keep exhaust stock.

Nice. How does the truck feel? Any plans to do the rest of the exhaust?

Would you be able to get some more videos from outside the truck?...preferably behind it or ~5ft away from the truck? It's hard to hear the tone of the exhaust with the camera so close exhaust tip...sounds like a distorted wooosh.

Yep! Definatly gonna do the rest of the exhaust after i get uprev. Gonna do a dual through x pipe but i not sure whether to go with magnaflow or flowmaster as far as sound goes. Piping size im thinking 2.25 or 2.5". Still piecing it together as money is short at the moment. Will try to do a clip from farther away tomorrow. Ill try to get a pic to underneath too. Just goes from the block and bolts to where the end of the stock primary cats were. From there everything is stock still yet. As far as power pick up goes. There was a DEFINATE noticable gain. Both in pull and acceleration. If i had to compare it to anything, maybe was a little more when i first changed from stock tune to 93 octane tune with superchips.

this may sound like a stupid question, but I have to ask since I don't know the answer. On the website they listed a short tube header that says it 50 state legal. Does that mean the long tubes aren't 50 state legal? Would the make the truck fail an emissions test?

Its suppose to be a race only application. Over here we dont test for emissions so its no problem. I know in some states you cant remove your cats so i would check with your laws first....or ignore them:)

Sounds pretty darned good. take brutal's and my word for not going over 2.5". 3" is great for racing and staying in the throttle... But the noise is awful. keep up the good work!

Best sounding clip I have heard yet ironically. I wonder if the manifolds/cats are the real bottleneck in the exhaust system.

I would say yes. I think deleting the primary cats count for 1/2 the gains on the longtubes. Small tubing and bad bends are part of the reason.

Thanks everyone for the complements and the advice. Heres some pics of them in NCfronty....

Brutal and Shiner, given this current setup, what would you recommend for a supercharged application in regards to exhaust diameter? I wanna do a setup similar to yours brutal.

I live in NY. Is there any what I can get these headers and still be able to pass an inspection? Would i have to purchase anything else to trick the truck or the testing equipment? Or am I gonna have to go with the short tube ones?

Same question and could you give a brief description of installation, did you have to raise motor etc... Thanks...T
