Are there supposed to be door catches to keep the doors from swinging out all the way when opened? When I open the door and ease it open there doesn't seem to be any "stopping points" until it maxes out. It's very annoying when in tight spaces. Especially with new passengers.

I will look here shortly. Might even take a video of it for reference.

I've never been in a vehicle where the doors opened like this. Typically there are a couple of open "settling points" where the door will stop itself at different points. Not on mine lol. It's all out!

My '10 KC has detents on all 4 doors, but they are very weak. They won't keep the door in place on a hill or in wind.

It doesn't have check straps. Looks to be a bar that connects inside the door frame with a bar that runs inside of the door itself.

Yes, it's called a "door check." It's better than nothing, but only by a little bit.
