2" body lift installed. Took me a few hours but I had a good time doing it. My 12yo daughter helped me put the spacers in for the bed, +1 for her.

ADF 2" spacers went on. NO MORE RUBBING. YAY.

That's a well put together truck! good job. It looks perfect for cruising in style with the addicts. Have you modified your inner fender cover where the tire connects? There is some room between the cover and the truck body behind it. With some heat gun or sawzall work they might clear.

so your already running a 2" bl, what are you doing now for more lift?
Well I bought a 2" spacer but now I wish I would have just picked up the adjustable bilsteins and 1.5" coils.
Oh well, I will make the upgrade later on.

Thanks. I did some melting and I did a bit of hammering to it and got maybe 1/8" of more clearance (at the bottom on the passenger side). It made a noticeable difference but there is still some rub.
If 2" isn't enough then maybe those adjustable bils and coils will be happening sooner than expected :D

ill post pics to show you how i cut the wheel well and fender later today!

oh yea well spacer is always the easiest and most economic way to go, but it does stiffen up your ride a bit. but not to much if you get the bilsteins! have you considered getting some radflos 2.0 instead of wasting money on shocks springs and spacers?...

I'll ditch the spacers with the new shocks and springs. For me, the radflos aren't worth the cost unless I found a great deal.
$350 for the adjustable bils (which most everyone has positive things to say about) and the 1.5" coils and things should be pretty swell.
With the way things are going, once I get the 4"/3.5" on there, I will probably want more.

IT NEVER ENDS!

i couldnt agree more with fronty fan either! but now that theres a vast array of parts for the frontiers, its alot easier to figure out which way to go with your build. but nevertheless think about it really good. if your gonna want more life eventually (which you will) you might as well wait. especially if you want some bigger a/t's! remember the higher the truck the bigger the tires. if you want to get rid of the rub for now then id say your on the right track. but yea, IT NEVER ENDS!!! ;)

i started off hamering but with bigger tires and all i decided it was time to cut the fenders and do things rite! i think i might have gone overboard with the plastic wheel well cutting, but i just got tired of having to cut more and more each time so i cut enough out to were i wouldnt have anymore rubbing especially with the new tires. i should have tried melting first i guess. i need to roll the edge of the fender to give it that clean professional look and to make sure i dont cut into the tires!!! but thats what i did, dont know if it helps.

The 2" body lift is what I currently have. The 2" suspension lift goes on ASAP, I was hoping I could find a buddy with an impact wrench but no dice. Looks like I will be using hand tools like a champ, again. :D

You couldn't be more right.....I thought my "to do" list would get shorter once I started, but it is actually longer.

You should also just think about saving the cash until you can do it right the first time. That's a lesson that I share with many others around here. Looks good so far though.
Wise words, so listen up grasshopper, I went from Calmini spacer, to Radflo 2.0's, now I have Calmini 5" and i'm waiting on my Radflo 2.5's to get here, do it how you want it the first time, I personally would have saved about a grand had I done that.

I know all too well about doing it right the first time. I learned that back in '98 when it came to modding cars, lol. Made a fairly expensive mistake with my civic.
As long as these spacers work out until after Christmas, it will be money well spent AFAIC.
Like I said, my offroading mainly consists of mud and dirt roads, I should be fine.

Put on the extra 2" in front, rubbing seems to be gone. The 4" lift in front makes the 33" tires seem right at home.
As of right now and the 10 minutes I spent looking at it, the stance isn't wide enough. The wheels need to come out about an inch.

I have a feeling that if I did that there would be rubbing again. /sigh

Wheel spacers are always an option. Put up some new pics!
I am thinking about the spacers but my concern is that my rubbing issue will return if I do that.
I'll go snap some pics, I was enjoying relaxing on the couch after the crapstorm that was my driver side UCA balljoint. :censor:
