I got spoiled by the Charger that I drive professionally. It has the ability to monitor tire pressures in real time. Does anyone know how/if it can be done on my 2016 Frontier?
There is a hidden diagnostic screen that has many digital readouts of various data points, but unfortunately, I don't believe tire pressures is one of the data points.
I think this is one of those areas where the old(er) technology of the Frontier works against it. I have a 2016 Frontier, my wife has a 2016 Rogue, both SV trim. Her Rogue has real time monitoring but the Frontier does not.
It seems to me that Nissan puts new tech in their trucks after it's been proven on their other platforms. That's not necessarily a bad thing as it enhances the reliability of the truck platform. I was mildly surprised that the Intellikey was not available on my 2016 Frontier. It's still a great truck! I'm looking around at some of the aftermarket TPMS systems, lots of pros and cons.
