i just bought a suspension lift for my 2005 frontier KC nismo. its the AC lift that includes front coilovers and an add-a-leaf. my question is, does the front coilover shock have enough travel for my new coilovers?

I am a little confused here so forgive me.

So you have coilovers for your coilover? I assume you purchased lifted coil springs and are going to replace your existing coil on your factory strut assembly?

I have heard that you can get premature wear when adding a longer spring to your factory struts. As far as travel... Not sure, but I think the ride will be pretty stiff.

Search around as there have been a few people with this setup that have had issues with the coils breaking. That was years ago so I am sure its been fixed by now.

If you have a little extra dough laying around it wouldnt be a bad idea to go with an aftermarket strut like old man emu or a bilstein.

I've got PRG spacers and they are fine for me. If I could do it again I may have spent a little fore money and went with either:

a)OME springs and strut
b)Bilstein adjustables set at 1" lift and a small spacer. (have been told they ride rough too when adjusted all the way up)

There is always adjustable coilovers but thats more than I need.
