Its a 2000 model. It has 2" spindles in front, and 3" blocks in the rear.
That's cool, I have been pricing the spindles -- kind of expensive especially since the blocks for the rear are so cheap. I have seen them priced around $200-$300. Is that individual cost or for a pair?

I also found a site that sells lowering leaf springs for around $180.

Mine were two hundred and something for a pair. I just went with the blocks because I had already spent enough at the time for the front, and didn't want to spend any more for the rear (already had the blocks laying around). If you decide to put spindles on front keep in mind that most stock wheels aren't going to fit over the spindles. That is why I have the 17" wheels on mine. You can use some 16" wheels with slight modification, but I would say at least a 17". I don't think my 17" wheels would fit now if I hadn't already modified a few things.

i was just wondering why stock wheels wont fit? would it have rubbing or clearance issues and where. does that go for aftermarket 15" wheels too.

Mine isn't lowered a whole lot. Just enough for a nice DD.

I really want those wheels for my 04!
I used to have a 97 Harbody king cab SE ,and I borrowed my dads wheels off of his 01 S/C for about 2 hours ,and have wanted them since!

The 97 was sadly was totaled 3 years ago!!
Guess I need to start checking EBAY.

Hey Guys. I'm new here. I purchased an 02 XE King Cab 2wd about a week ago. I'm planning on lowering my truck at this same height (2" Front - 3" Rear). I just purchased 18" Armada 6 spoke Wheels last night. I was wondering what size tires I should go with. I was thinking somewhere around 235/45/18 or 235/40/18

Does anyone know what size tires LittlewhiteNissan. I know they're 17's but I can use the Tire Calculator for 18's. I've emailed and PM'ed him but he hasn't been on here for a while.

Thanks for the pictures, Scott. They help a lot.

Shift_13, How many inches is yours currently lowered at?

I'm planning on lowering mine 2" in front and 3" in rear to see how I like it.

I'd be using:
BellTech 2 - 3" Drop Spindles
3" Blocks Rear
Belltech Shocks, Either Street Performance or Nitro Drop 2 (I don't know which are better)

I have the 6 spoke Armada wheels that I need to have bored out to fit.
Planning on getting 235/45/18 Tires
Alignment when all is said and done.

Do I need spacers for the wheels to fit right? I've read about others having rubbing issues. Am I missing anything?

Just to maybe help you out some more since the Hardbody is pretty similar to the 98 era Frontier:

That's with 245/50-16 tires (same diameter as stock tire and 245/40-18) and a 1/2" / 2" drop. That width and the Z71 backspacing (5.5" on a 16x7 wheel) clears everything quite nicely.
