Very nice.

We were talking about lowered trucks and how they lose their function. Those trucks have only one purpose, and that's to look nice.

Either way, nice trucks.
well if you lower a truck just enough without needing to cut a hole in the bed floor, then i think that their utility is only sacrificed by at most, 40%.

03 lowered

i own a 2003 4x2 4cyl lowered 3 in the back and around 3.5 in the front.i was wondering if i can still get it aligned after using the torsion bars to lower the front and do i even need to get the back aligned? when i lowered the front i noticed the tires moved back will alignment fix this or is it just part of lowering the front that i have to deal with? i wish i had pics but i dont.

Why no towing?

We were refering to the truck like in these pix.
most people who have trucks with air bags also have roll pans or cali combos (roll pan molded into the tailgate [tailgate no longer functions])

because of this towing is out of the picture, also baggs are bumpy! even with shocks (which many bagged trucks dont have at all) towing would be very unstable.

ohh and I was talking about trucks like in the pics also.

Oh well if the tailgate is molded shut, then it's not really good for hauling anymore anyways. not to mention the rear crossframe for the bags, nitrogen tank, compressors, etc.

So yea, not functional. lol

You can lower a truck and still be usefull, but not like the ones in the pix.

Mine isn't lowered a whole lot. Just enough for a nice DD.

Thats HOT! Simple yet effective, and can still haul some crap. What did you use and how is the ride? I am wanting to do a lil drop on my DD crew.

I used 2" drop spindles in front and 3" blocks in the back and removed the bumpstop so instead of cutting it. I have been driving it for about a month now and haven't scraped or bumped on anything. I drive fairly agressive too. The ride is pretty much the same front and back as stock. I still have the factory length shocks so it wouldn't hurt to get some shorter ones probably.
