Okay I am going to install a remote start on my truck, one of the things is wired different if I have a factory alarm or I don't. Stupid question but how do I now if I have the factory alarm or not. What does the factory alarm do on the frontier's?

Yr of truck? Trim level? If SV, do you have VTP?

With windows open and truck locked, try reaching in and unlock door lock...then open door. Alarm should/will go off.
~ Insert key in door lock and unlock twice to turn it off.
