This is definitely sticky worthy and the write-up and pictures are nice.

Very cool, one question though to OP, any fogging yet? Or did your seal hold?

:kissass:
Yup, the seal is holding great and I've had no fogging/moisture ever since! :)

Just ordered some brand new headlights from rockauto and i'm going to attempt this (crazy i know) just got a couple of questions before i start.

- should i go with a glossy black or flat black? i was thinking a flat black would look the best.

- "ran a bead of silicone on the back part of the headlight and attached the two pieces together" i can't really picture this, when i have them apart will i see where to put the silicone?

-and best kind of silicone glue to use?

Anyone try to do this with their fog lights? Kinda dumb, but its been bugging ever since I did this mod. Just looks a bit weird to me with the painted headlights and not fogs.

Also does anyone know how to clean the inside of the headlight lenses without baking them again? I've been hearing that putting rubbing alcohol in the headlight, let it swish around, and let it dry. I'm a bit weary about trying this, so does anyone have any advise on this?

Looks great man. I just have one question. After replacing it has there been any moisture buildup inside the lens? I heard that if you separate the lens and light fixture moisture will get in there and build up every once in a while.
