The engine lights on these trucks are small bulbs that are not removable. They are wired onto a circuit board on the back of the cluster. If you cut the terminals you will not be able to put the bulb back on the board without soldering. Be careful when you disassemble the cluster to gain access to the bulb because you can easily knock the temp and fuel needles off and they are a PITA to get back on properly so they read right. Piece of cake, good luck. Make sure you check for codes periodically so you dont damage anything. And yes disclose the info if you sell the truck..........its the right thing to do
