DIFFERENTIAL COVER PROBLEM

I have 05 Frontier Nismo Package. I stared to notice my differential cover started to rust. I took a close look at it, and I found out that it is getting too hot. The heat is causing the black paint to peal off and rust. I got a new cover from Nissan with warranty, but it's no longer black. They said that the same thing is going to happen, so they are going to put the cover without black paint from 2007 models.
It looks dumb without paint. At least they could come up with a new style, like Titans have fins to cool it off.
Has anyone had the same problem?
