2 months ago,i go in and show them the rubber seal starting to come out of the left rear window, its a king cab,the adviser orders a seal.Go back the following a week the adviser says oh i made a mistake, cant change the window seal the whole window has to be replaced,a month later the window arrives, last wednesday took the truck in,the adviser says the window will be repaired, you can pick it up thurs.I get a message thurs that they need more time maybe this monday, initially the adviser said a glass guy will do the window,i phone the dealership yesterday they are tellin me the truck is not there its been contracted to a nissan autobody shop. These dealership people are so unprofessional,i will be looking for another nissan dealer in the future.I am just wondering why they would send the truck to a bodyshop to replace the window,i am not gettin any answers.its a 2009 xe model

Did you give them permission to leave the truck elsewhere? Last time I had a glass issue the glass guy came to the dealer and it was done on the premises.

Not sure what year your truck is crankcase, but there's a TSB out there. I think it was mostly a MY 2005 problem.

TSB NTB05098
IF YOU CONFIRM The rear door glass run rubber (LH or RH) is loose (sticks out) as shown in Figure 1 of this bulletin. ACTION Reattach the run rubber using 3M™ Automotive Adhesion Promoter and 3M™ Automotive Acrylic Plus Attachment Tape.

You can learn all of the details at:

Nissanhelp.com - All About Nissan -

and see and/or download this or any other TSB at no cost after signing up. Good luck in your fix.

I'd much rather have people experienced in such repairs do the work so don't really see the problem in that. what's it matter as long as you get it repaired?
If the dealership is sending the vehicle somewhere, the owner should be asked in advance. I can't stand when dealerships do **** without getting the OK first.
My wife just had her IS300 in for a noise that only came up when the car SAT @ IDLE. They managed to put 30 miles on the car for no apparent reason.
Got the car home, complained to the dealership and corporate. Had the car go back in a couple weeks later and they wanted to drive the car to the tech's home and leave it parked so he could see if the problem came up. We said no to that but SOMEHOW the car had yet another 30 miles added to it.
We took the car back immediately and are now dealing with corporate. They were supposed to fill the tank with gas and detail it, didn't happen.
Lexus of Orlando blows.
