I replaced the half shaft on the drivers side on our 2000 Frontier 4X4 today and it was a royal pain in the arse. I read my chiltons and it called for pulling the motor for crying out loud! I wound up pulling the lower a-arm and it basically took me all day and I'm not totally convinced that the snap ring is holding the shaft in place. Anyone else have a better way to do this? I'm sure the passenger side is next and I'm NOT looking forward to it.
