Hey guys so I think my next step along with doing a titan swap this summer is getting a custom front bumper made. I'd like to know what quality So. Cal/ Orange County area fab shops you guys know of. I really want to get something well built, but I want to try to not spend a fortune. I've already talked to Giant Motorsports a lot and would really like them to do it, but not sure if I can really afford them even though I love their work. I also put a call into DMZ even though they're kind of far from me and mostly only do toyotas. I would like to try and keep it under $700 so I can finish my truck this summer, but can you guys let me know if that sounds way too cheap. Cause I do want something that is well designed and strong/functional. This was the basic design I was looking for.

Yah its kind of a last resort, but Ive heard the bad about that bumper and calmini and I refuse to put anything from them on my truck really. Plus there are a few more details not in my drawing that I would like to try and have custom made to my satisfaction. I want something thats going to really function as a bumper and not just buckle either.

BTF is in the IE he was looking for a truck to use to make one. I had talked him in to doing a group buy just needed some one to go see him and make one.
Oh yah I remember that now. Dang Im like ready to spend my 700 bucks on this If I can find a good fabricator that can do it, but I just wish all the good fabricators weren't way over there in the IE.

He said he would beat the Calmini price. Were are you located? When I was living in Hollywood and having my truck worked on in the IE I just took the train back and forth.

Im in garden grove, close to huntington beach. I got my mom and dads trucks, but thats just the issue. Still living under the parents roof during summer home from college and just about every new thing I want to do to my truck I get lectured on, Ill get lectured on having to drive long distances too hahaha. But nah, If I need to make the trek I will have to because I need quality fab work at a decent price. Doesnt have to be cheap, but $1500 from giant motorsports is too much for me right now, even though I know it would be a sick bumper.

I live in the IE, and would let my truck be used to fab up a bumper/jig, but I am not ready to get one quite yet. I want my suspension/wheels/tires first. Plus I want to do the back bumper at the same time. I too am interested in this conversation at the meet so please keep me posted. I will be there.

Hey guys so I know this thread is crazy old but I'm bringing it back up cause I'm seriously planning on getting my bumper made this summer. I'm out right now working on a ship back and forth to Hawaii but I will be home in July for about a month. Problem is I don't want to be without my truck for more than like a week at the most. So I'm gonna try and contact BTF fabrication and see if they will be able to do it for me. Money won't be an issue for me when I get back but it will just be time. Hopefully I can find a good shop to do it.

Mustard do you think BTF can still help me out?

Alright cool. I might try to have him do my front hydro bumps too at the same time. We'll see. My ship is leaving today and we'll be back in San Diego with reception in like 5 days. I'm going to give him a call when I can. I'm also desperately emailing method wheels back and forth right now too. Got a bunch I want to do when I get back home. It's easy to think of truck stuff nonstop while your in the middle of the ocean on a car carrier hahaha.

They do not make any wheels in our bolt pattern, with the exception of their Truck Race wheel. That is what I am going with, and they are $250 with a buddy hookup.

Adding the bumps will take a bit longer, and probably another good day or so.

Yah I know they dont make our bolt pattern but their website says you could pay extra for custom bolt patterns. So I was tryin to talk to them and there still willing to do the group buy thing through SDHQ of we can make that happen. If I can't get a nice set of 16 inch rims soon and get rid of my adapters and sh*tty pro comps I'm gonna just try to change hubs for the Titan bolt pattern.
