Got tired of waiting for a third party manufacturer to make a bracket so 3rd Gen owners can mount light pods securely to front of lower bumper without having to drill holes into a bumper made of plastic that cannot support the weight. Purchased cheap 3mm foot long flatbar from Canadian Tire.

Heated flatbar up in vice to make 2 offset bends, and bolted bar to the bumper support beam located behind the radar sensor. The bars both protrude through lower grille area on each side of the radar sensor and provide a mounting platform for my Rough Country LED pods.

Total time to construct brackets was 2 hours using a vice, torch, bench drill and a lot of patience bending and re bending to get the brackets to the right 1inch offset. Tested on washboard gravel roads, they do not bounce or shake during operation. Very sturdy.
Hope this gives other owners mounting ideas for their own trucks.

I had to drill new holes into the bumper support beam. Take your time in figuring out where to drill. It took me a hour of temporarily placing brackets with pods attached onto the support beam until I was satisfied of the location. Be aware the bumper support beam is a curved hollow beam in construction. You will have to drill each hole through 2 sides of this beam. A typical drill bit is sufficient in length, but you have to drill each hole perfectly straight. I had to take off upper grill to facilitate the install, and use a drill bit extension bar to drill holes on driver side of the bumper support beam as their are support brackets in the way, and I didnt feel like dismantling the whole bumper assembly.

Hope that helps
