I saw some threads on here about this aftermarket grille so I purchased it and put in on earlier today. I thought it looked a little better than the OE chrome grille

Any idea on what to replace the Nissan lettering with?

Also, this thing came flat black so does it need clear coat to prevent it from discoloring in the years to come?

I have had the same one for a couple years. The black finish has held up great, I like to think it's because of the ceramic coating I put on it every few months. The uneven lettering has to go at some point. I've been thinking of a light bar or even a couple cube lights. Someone on here replaced it with black mesh and a little nismo logo. Anyways, looking good, and glad I'm not the only one who went this route.
