Wow. I just want to see those spindles. I thought those CST Spindles are well built and seem pretty strong to me. Im interested. However, Im not that worried cause even after I titan swap my truck wont be nearly as crazy as serrateds and I think my CST spindles will hold up. hahahaha. But that sucks you broke the spindle and the lowers and everything.
With the kind of wheeling we do 5speed those cst spindles are plenty stout enough. Im sure he was doing something out trucks could only dream of doing lol. Cant wait to see the pics though and exactly what went wrong.
Sorry to hear.. hope CST hooks ya up.
I reeaaally wanna see..

side note: 5speed, Wolfmans right. These guys judge runs by "hang time".

Hahaha. Oh yah I know. I can tell by just looking at the rear of Serrated's truck hahaha. Thats exactly what I was saying. Im sure even after I titan swap mine and jump it some more that the spindles will be more than sufficient for my little XE because I do believe they are well made. And hey, as to "hang time" I just posted a pic up the other day. It was a pretty bad takeoff pic that someone got of me, but I did a nice clean jump and got all my tires about 2-3 feet in the air with a nice soft and clean landing. I was pretty stoked for only having what I have on my truck. And i haven't even titan swapped it.

And again it sucks that all broke on such a sweet truck, but nobody said building a desert machine like that was easy, or cheap. hahahah. Props though for testing it and discovering new weak points of the truck and staying safe while doing it.

OHHHHH. Me likey those BMS spindles
BMS make nice stuff.. I talked to them about building my truck but they wanted twice what I'm paying BTF to do it.
are you keeping the the frontier hubs Mustard?
are you keeping the the frontier hubs Mustard?
Going to Titan hubs, and putting Chevy axles in the 9" so it will all be 6 on 5.5.. but you are 2wd so he can make them with what ever hub you want.

they are bent too.

they need some gusseting.. and I think they are two tall to be prerunner spindles, it throws the geometry out of whack. cut them down 2 inches.
need new ones first.
Whooa they FU.. the ride up that musta been a blast!

how many inches are they piviot to piviot?
I know stock titans are 20" and shortening them any would not be a good idea, if any thing they need to be longer to keep you from running out of upper arm on droop(aka camber in at droop). The geometry on the frontier fails in that the upper arm piviot is too high and the upper arm is too short.

so with that beeing said, you would actually want the spindles to be taller than stock to correct the geometry and enable you to have more droop travel. ( if you can even acomplish that with stock bj's)
yah i believe the cst spindles keep the suspension in the stock geometry keeping the length between the upper and lower arm the same as stock. They really lift the 4" from the bottom, essentially extending the hub down. From what I understand.

It is true though that most LT kits for fords, chevy, etc all have pretty short spindles but those trucks are set up differently in the beginning anyways.

Like 5 speed said they are 4 inch lift spindle, I think they should be cut down 2 inchs. I knwo Greg at PRG cut down his CST spindles.
I know "RRP Fabrication" uses a modified CST spindle for their Boxed titan lowers, not to sure what they did to it but im pretty sure if anyone is interested they can google it.
Stay the fu(k away from RRP! He converted ONE cst spindle to use a uniball instead of stock balljoint..that's all.

As for the spindle, the best method is to relocate your upper arm to mount on the frame and cut the spindle down accordingly. The spindle being as tall as it is causes a lot of issues.
