Hey guys,
I have a 2005 Frontier extended cab and when I am driving around and hit bumps I get some "creaking" somewhere and I can't figure out where it is coming from. Does anyone else have this problem? and does anyone know where this is coming from? I think its from the suicide doors.
And I saw a new radio installation guide somewhere in the forums and can't seem to locate it anywhere. Can someone send me the link to the PDF? thanks.

I also have a KC, but have not had this problem. There is a thread on squeaky springs
around here somewhere and that may be your problem. Since I do not have this problem I have not kept up with it.

I spent soem of my day looking for the noise, and I think you are right i think it is my springs. Do you know of a way to fix it? or is it simply one of those things that I have to deal with?

I have 06 CC LE with 1070 miles, just took it in yesterday for a creaking sound when I turn and brake coming from the left rear side. The dealer called back and said it was the fuel pump. Parts on order. Does not make sense to me how the fuel pump causing the sound. We will see if the sound goes away.

I have an 06 SE CC and have the same problem. When it took it in to the dealer they said it was a tailgate bracket. Then I get my truck back, they somehow bent the tailgate got a new one from them. I still have the creaking sound, it sounds to come from the rear seat for some reason, or at least thats what I think, hope this helps!

i have an '05 LE CC with close to 20K and have noticed in the last 2-3K a creaking noise that sounds like it's coming from under the dash. it happens when going over speedhumps, or bumps. any clues?

I have an 05 kc le and it has had a sqweak in the dash from day one. The dealer can't find it and it only seems to happen when it's very cold out. I also started noticing noise from the dash. I think it's the plastic rubbing and will try and remedy with some silicone spray along all the seems.

I'll let you all know how that turned out.

I see these types of complaints in my line of work. Try the following. Get weatherstrip dressing from the auto parts. Its a spray used to lubricate weatherstrip rubber. Spray this on all the weatherstripping around all the doors.

What happens sometimes is the weatherstripping gets dry. When you're driving around the body flexes it starts to rub and that rubbing can sound like a squeak. I've even heard it sound like a rattle. This will be worse on KC models due to its suicide door design but thats ok. That design is one of my favorite features and I knew that goin in so I'll take care of it as soon as it starts.

I've seen guys take half the interior apart on a covertable chasing a squeak and it turn out to be the weatherstripping around the covertable top, so try this first before you go taking stuff apart.

mine's not a squeak, to me it sounds more like a lid being placed on a pot/pan.

Got truck back and the squeaking is gone. The dealer replaced fuel pump under warranty.

2100 miles on my truck now, the only noise it has made was a groan from the driver side leaf spring in the rear when I would get out of the truck... come on now I'm not THAT big... anyways it turned into a really annoying squeak yesterday morning when I had the truck out in the boonies over some pretty rough terrain, the same leaf spring was squeaking over every little bump. After the 200 mile drive home last night the squeak and groan was gone, must have needed a little action to work it out of the system. By the way, the LE handled the unmaintained hilly snow/ice covered road in the central Washington hills like a champ!

Holy crap! The noises that my new Frontier will make probably won't even faze me with all the noises I hear on my slammed all to hell '97 Hardbody. My truck would probably drive you guys nuts!!!!

i have a 05 nismo and i have a list of probs to the north pole.
the squeaky sound coming from the front end is most likely the rubber stops
under the hood they rub on the radiatior support geaase em up and turn down the stops a lil bit.it worked for me.
