Was checking Craigslist this evening came across this don't know if anyone needs them but $80 for both. Now why couldn't I find this when I was looking

Sorry I'd like to nfloyd77 Tyler's better than 100m each way what it'll cost fuel an time would be more than than it's worth. Try contacting guy and seeing if he's willing to ship them to you.
I did most of the pickup from several different states size wise a set of PRG 2Leaf packs from Georgia to TX were >$40 and have to say heavier than those shocks.

Those Bilsteins look at little bit used to me so I am wondering why is he selling them at that price? :surprise: It seems very fishy to me. Bilstens for $80 :serious:

They might be I haven't talked to guy handle them or see them up other than through the listing pics but lil' fronty fishy heck more fishing for others its probably why I was able to steal a Calmini winch bumper brand new off CL can't say how much but it was well worth the drive up there. BTW I installed a set 2wks ago and these already look better than mine lol. I looked at the perches and didn't see any scratching I just saw a smudge on the lower shock mount bushing and some grease on upper one like he might of been trying to install but couldn't or didn't know how. But for $80bucks it's worth talking to the guy

Enon535 hell yes to answer you but if I had found these b4 I brought my set the answer would of been we wouldn't be having this conversation cause they would've been sold!.
I gave nfloyd77 that reference for shipping because I just installed a set of prg's $160+shipping leaf pack off CL and had them shipped to me NIB for less than a c-note and I brought them unseen from Georgia lol.

Yeah I tried and he said he would ship them, but wanted to do some Walmart to Walmart Moneygram cause he wasnt very familiar with PayPal. That once he got the money he would go to USPS and ship them and send me a tracking number. We settled on 100$ flat transferred to him, but the walmart moneygram site kept giving me an error and never went through. I told him i would drive to walmart on my lunch break and send it person. Before I left to go send it i sent him a confirmation text to see if we were still a go, then i never heard back from him. The money gram thing seemed sketchy, but figured hell its only 100$ i have gambled on worse. Oh Well no Bilsteings for me......

Might be for the best sometimes it works out sometimes not I never used the Walmart money gram b4 either. Do you know is there any recourse like you can find out who signed for it or cashed it? You could always court his butt I know Judge Judy luvs scammers. You do need to be careful hell it's the wild west I don't know how things are where you are but I will tell you since moving to TX I've found there are lot of not so fortunate out here.

For the 100$ it wouldnt even be worth going after, i am not in the business of giving money away but still gotta know when to cut your losses. I am not sure he said his name was Clifford Allen everything we talked about seemed legit from the reasons why he was getting rid of the shocks to what he was doing to his frontier next, but who knows. You are right probably for the best, Ill wait for the next holiday and catch them on sale or something.

As one of my 4600's has started leaking, I called about the adjustables. He said he had used PayPal on eBay, I asked him to send me his PayPal email address and I would him $1.00 so he could see how PayPal works. It was taking him a while to get back to me, so I sent him a message and said I went ahead and just got two new 4600's and thanks anyways. He got back to me right away and said he had been too busy at work and hadn't gotten back to me with the email address.

Probably a good deal for somebody local, who can go see and pay for in person. Not so good for mail order and payment sight unseen. Just my opinion.
