This is regarding the factory water temp sensor mounted on the intake manifold where the upper radiator hose is located... Its a single wire sensor...
My question is... i have an autometer water temp gauge (from my old car) and it came with a single wire temp sensor... Is this sensor the same as the one that is on the motor now..?? So say if i wire up my gauge and hook up the signal wire to that sensor on the manifold, will i get proper readings or are they totally different..?? Has anyone even tried to attempt this..??
If not ill be the 1st to try it out... and report back... this will save me some time & $$ IF it works... hehe
