I'm trying to squeeze any power I can out of my little 2000 silver streak fronty and was wondering if I can do away with a converter? I don't have to worry bout emissions. I was wondering if any body has put an electric fan on theirs to free up a little power and if it helped or not? I've seen where ppl are putting a header on so I'm looking into that as well. Any tips or tricks to squeeze out some HP would be greatly appreciated..lol

Electric fans on a 1st gen.... that has been done.

CAT deletion on a 1st gen.... that has been done.

Headers on a 1st gen... that has been done.

Dang, all of those things have been done and I remember reading about them all on here. You may want to SEARCH a little and you will be amazed on what you come up with.

Side Note: People have also discussed programmers for the 1st gen so you may want to look at that but I don't think any real programmers are out for you thou. You may also want to look into an intake and exhaust. Those have also been discussed on here too. Dang, Clubfrontier.org has a ton of info if you look enough.

I guess if I had nothing else to do with my life I could go through every thread over the last 5 yrs and hope they answer my ?'s Pubie Dubie. I figured it would be easier to get answers now that ppl have done these things and had time to see the results.:nana:

Always good to come in with 7 posts - ask a question - then get ticked off and fire off a lame insult to a member with almost 5000 posts. Great way to get your questions answered...

Dang, you life must be really busy. I did a quick search and found the answers to all your questions on the first page of each search. I think it took a total of 5mins at most. If you don't have 5mins to spare, then you don't have the time to do the actual mods.

Now for the irony of this whole issue. You complain about the millions of threads or whatever but you are just adding to the issue. If you really wanted to help the issue, then provide links in your initial thread about the other threads you have found and state which questions you still have.

Side Note: To make searching easier, use the advanced set-up and search titles only to start. This will eliminate a lot of useless crap.

Excellent advice.
Our search engine here on CF isn't the best but you can find what you are looking for with a little patience.

Also Google's advanced search is quite handy, you can narrow down searches to this site only as an example of it's flexibility.
