Anyone with a newer truck with a C200 axle that had very weak parking brake find that a tablespoon of grease oozed out of the axle bearing and ruined your brake shoes.

Check your rear axle vent, there are numerous OP threads here regarding the craptastic one-way vent that Nissan ( and apparently Toyota and Jeep ) all use. Do the vent mod, its cheap and fixes the problem forever. I did mine as soon as I was made aware of the issue. Now, if your seals are already damaged, that's another bowl of soup.

worth a try i guess, but if it was a pressure build-up I think it would be pissing gear oil out the pinion seal way before it could push grease out a double sealed w/o-ring axle bearing
