Does anyone happen to have pictures of the inside ceiling with the map light console removed? Headliner off also would be nice...

I did find some threads that probably used to contain pictures of this but the picture links are all broken :-/ (such as this)

You are the MAN. Thank you very much.

Hope you're staying out of harm's way out there...I saw the pictures of the 405 near the Getty...good lord what a mess. And the pics of the main street in Ventura with fire in the background...scary.

It's weird isn't it? Usually these kinds of natural disasters hit the poor and middle class the hardest, but this time it seems like a lot of rich folks getting hit. I saw a quote in an article today...something like "We lost *two* of our houses!" My wife's family lives in Oxnard, they've seen a couple things just randomly on fire out there.

You ever rolled that thing? That cage looks pretty badass.
Nope, thank God! Very easy to do, though.
Happpens a lot.
I would probably sell it for parts if I did.
It is a SCORE certified cage.
Friend was suppose to take over driving duties about 12 hours after the start of the 1000.
The driver rolled the truck 38 miles from the start.
End of race.
His partner rolled the truck during testing before the 1000.
Got injured and so shook up decided never to get back in the truck.

My friend drives the upside down class1 in the photo.
He drove my truck in the 1000 in 2014 and will do it again for NORRA. He was not driving it when the rolled it.

“Wright Fabrication” built my cage.
When it came to things related to safety,I deferred to him.
Ben is a good friend and also co drives my truck. Again next year for NORRA.

Sorry to sidetrack thread maybe, but if you roll over, is the cage no longer usable? similar to a helmet aging or being used? Just wondering why a rollover ends the run.

When they rolled the truck there was other damage. Just went over my messages from Matt. Took out the control arms and fuel cell was damaged.
Yes, after a impact the cage must be certified over again.
Helmets are pretty much discarded if a there is an impact. Plus they are only good for 5 years but sometime they give you an extension.
At the 2014 Baja 1000, being in a slow class we were set to leave very late. My co/driver needed his helmet certified.
When they checked, it was out of date!
I freaked out! That meant if he did not have a certified helmet , I would have to start by myself.
I handed him a pocket full of money and said go buy one!
The plan was if he did not find one, I would pick him up down the road. If they caught us, I am sure they would have barred us for life!
Luckily he brought the tech lady backed with him and she looked at the helmet visually. She cut us s huge break and allowed it.
Kind of sucks, my new helmet is only good for next year. Got sick in 2015.
With intercom, hans attachments etc, close to a grand.
After the rollover, Matt’s new helmet may not be any good. It was brand new.
