This is a feeler thread i am creating for some new Frontier options.
Is there any interest in suspension spacers with the following qualities?
  • Grade 8 Bolts
  • CNC machined Billet Aluminum
  • Color powdercoating ie. black, red, green, blue, etc.
  • Comparable/lower cost than current options

Please list other machined parts you feel are in high demand but we currently have limited options for (first and second gen.)

I know I will probably get bashed for this but what about an IMS? I know people had issues but the ones that were machined correctly really did work. Then lets not forget the other guy that bailed on this and fell off the face of the earth.

I also have to ask this: do most people want their spacers to be noticed? I know people like the look of coilovers but spacers....

Yeah... x2! IDK about colored spacers...
Yeah I wouldn't really be down with it... but maybe some will.

x2 on the IMS it doesn't need to have the gasket grove like the one from he who should not be spoken about.. So they should be simpler to make.
How a bout hinges for the tail gate. Dont those bend super easy? I think mine are bent.
And I agree, The colored spacers is a gamble. I think most want to hide that the took the cheap route. (including me)
Bumper relocation brackets for a body lift....
x2

I wanna do a body lift and that is where my hesitation is. If I buy all the parts myself I would still need brackets.
Aluminum Colored Spacers

hmmm, I think I'd be down with colored spacers - Red. I like to color coordinate... but, that's just me. And, I really don't mind if someone notices that I have spacers; I think spacers have become very popular.
I can see it now... Blue spacers, Red diff cover, Green shackles..

Somebody would too!

LOL... The words were color coordinate! I didn't mean transforming your daily driving truck into a circus truck. I would only do it to certain extent. BTW... Calmini's Aluminum spacers and shackles look cool!
1/2" rear lift shackles or blocks. it would be nice to raise the back just a little bit after you level so it does sag when loaded.
^ kinda counterproductive

I want purple parts!

you can find a truck in SoCal that want to work off I got a guy looking to make parts for us..
UCA's.

I've been looking into that. I called and spoke with one of the guys at Calmini and he said that If you install the Spacers in the front and the Shackles in the back it would be slightly raised - about 1/2".
Color isn't necessary by any means but it is an option. I will definitely look into making up some brackets. That was a PITA when i went through it. I will also look into more IMS. Do we currently not have an option for 1/2 blocks?
