my 2012 frontier died in my driveway a couple weeks ago. I cant hear my fuel pump running when the key is turned on, tried two different code readers, both newer and one is very nice, neither reader will connect with the truck. further checking led me to believe it was my IPDM so I ordered a new one and swapped it. still wont run and I still cant connect to the truck with a code reader, I'm now trying to decide the best way to get to my fuel pump, but I would love to be able to read a code. anyone know where the codes come from or why I cant connect?

Mine won't connect to our neighbors fancy snap on computer but can be read by my cheap eBay OBDII and my phone. Go figure. You may just need to try a less fancy scanner, but don't ask me why that is.

Well the local shop didn't want to deal with it and suggested I take it to the dealer, I called two dealers to get two opinions and trailered it to the local dealer I bought it from. I bought it new and it only has 52,000 miles on it. They called me early Friday to get my story on it, they called back a couple hours later to say they have no idea whats wrong because none of their diagnostic machines will communicate with my truck. They needed my permission to keep going. I told them I needed it fixed and they havent called back since. tomorrow is monday so I'll find out what they are thinking then. but I'm feeling like I shouldn't have a huge bill for a 50,000 mile truck because it fried, I've taken good care of the truck since it was new.
