I ahd the clutch replaced at around 40,000 km's started slipping going through the mountains. and now 5000 kms later my clutch is still slipping when i pull out on the highway to pass people, and sometimes with the clutch all the way to the floor i cant get it into gear, it isnt disengaging. Any ideas. They tell me the hydraulics are fine....but i think nissan just likes to make me pay for a new clutch and fly wheel. If i have to pay for another clutch and fly wheel i might have to have a fire sale.

Could be an error with the install? Over-torqued bolts? IDK. I Don't recommend buying the factory clutch and flywheel. There are 3-4 companies out there that are making a clutch for our trucks. You do have an 05+, correct? There is a group buy going on at this time with JWT, check under the "Group Buy" section.

I would check the hydraulic for sure. ...
Me too. A new clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder wouldn't cost a great deal of money and would be insurance against another clutch failure if one cylinder or the other are the culprits. The fact that you can't get out of gear when you depress the pedal indicates to me that the cylinders are highly suspect or that there's air trapped in the line.

In the interim, you might want to check the adjustment of the clutch pedal -- it should be close to your brake pedal in elevation. There's a very precise measurement for in in the factory service manual.

I would check the hydraulic for sure. 40,000 is not much for a clutch never mind 5,000. I've had clutchs last 200,000 miles even pulling mixers and boats.

What over torgued bolts could cause this?
Some people had this problem, don't know what exactly. The factory messed up and it caused fast wear-n-tear. Pretty sure it was somebody on the "Thenewx.org" club. He had it replaced at around 20,000 miles and then went through another, but the cause was something else.

My nephew has an Altima SE-R and was having pedal issues but was under extended warranty. They gave him the "alls fine" garbage but the pedal would stick to the floor or trouble shifting. I told them to replace the slave cylinder and the master and if I was wrong I'd eat the bill. Wonder of wonders the car was perfect after and they apologized to being so stubborn and warrantied the repair. It's over a year later and he's still trouble free.
