Hello there... New to online forum here but member on other pages off of Facebook and etc.. I have a question for the 6speed frontier owners here...
By the way I have a 2013 Nissan Frontier Pro4x with about 143000 on it right now. I put about 130miles on her a day. I got it with about 115miles on it and she’s been great to me. Recently I noticed a little slip while accelerating it jumps about 200-300rpms. It happened couple time here and there.
Due to this I’ve been doing some research and have come across the JWT 275mm CLUTCH & FLYWHEEL. Apparently it’s the best option for our truck. So I’m wondering if anyone here has experience with it?

And i also heard there are group buys here and there... just wondering if anyone planning on starting one soon? Let me know please and thank you!!!

IIRC, these OEM clutches will generally just go out w/o much warning. So, it sounds like you're getting a sign?
Best bet is OEM clutch and replace dual mass flywheel since it cannot be resurfaced. Going aftermarket seems like a gamble to me.
Keep us posted especially if you go w/ that JWT. There are some threads here...some hit, some miss. Try an Advanced Search?

Yeah been getting warning. Random slippage, sudden clutch smell... and I most definitely don’t want to put another dual mass flywheel back in I hate the concept.... yeah I’ve been reading everywhere about the JWT a lot of people apparently get hot spots while they are wheeling.. which I dont really do yet. And with the TiTan swap coming up in the near future I’m trying to find better clutch set up.

That's a sharp rig you've got. Dual mass FW addresses NVH best. I'm not up on costs of aftermarket vs OEM. If you'll be doing the work/switch, then try something different. Sounds like fun...in a way. lol My wrenching days are over. Will go Nissan parts cuz I think they'll last longer.

A member tried a Phoenix Kevlar clutch lately w/o good results. He then went OEM.

I had a clutch rebuilt by McLeod. Used stock dual mass flywheel. Just took them the stock pressure plate and a throw out bearing.
Tortured it! Still works fine.
I needed it in a hurry. Did it in a day.
Not sure if that is the normal response or because I have a friend with a connection.

Replaced my clutch with an Exedy and the dual mass with a JWT lightweight flywheel.
Absolutely love it.
How many miles on your new combo...did it help/hurt MPGs?
