I just want to say that i love how this forum has no flaming. Its such a great group of people, I never got flamed or seen any flaming since i been on here. With all the stupid newby questions i expected to get flamed, but i didnt. It shows the different crowds of people from this forum to my old 240sx forum and wrx forum.
Everybody on here rock.
thanks!!!

Personally I try to keep things clean, straight and to the point. Just like all of our teachers told us "If you don't have anything good to say don't say anything at all"! It seems like most people follow this rule on this forum. Also I used to be on a Civic forum and there was a bunch of punks on there too. It must be the trucks??

You're definitely right StormNISMO is all about the truck, the Nissan Frontier. I used to be on a Toyota forum, ooww man... what a forum. A lot of punks with really bad attitude.

Yup, great group of people here...hopefully as it gets more crowded it still stays the same.
it will all be up to the people on this board, and especially the mods, to determine this. if we let the flamers do their thing, it gets bad. if they are banned or blocked, then the forum stays peaceful.

i visit a civic forum, mostly for their off topic board, and most people there are ruthless. the mods only enforce some rules. hard to get any help when the lurkers first ask you to post nudes of your girlfriend. and if you are a female, forget it.

This forum is doing quite well. If you ever get a chance visit www.ClubTitan.org my big forum the one that started me into this Nissan adventure. It is very much like it is here. We dont put up with people being rude. There is a great atmosphere there. We are at over 5000 members there too and still having fun. The members of a site have to dictate the way the forum will grow. If members dont put up with people coming in and causing disturbances then it will be a great place for a long time.

I havent been around very long either, and I also appreciate everyone's willingness to help out one another.

It might be difficult to do because everyone is so spread out, but I think it would be a great Idea to have a Club meeting somewhere central.
Maybe somewhere where we could have a parking lot meet one day and a offroad trail ride another day.

Maybe its just a pipe dream

Thanks again for this great forum

Hmmm, central location where all ClubFrontier members can meet? Can't get any more central than Oklahoma City!! Let's do it! Wait a min, I don't even have a Frontier yet! Crap!

Hahaha. . .I'm super n00b over here and I love this forum. Out of the 4 or 5 forums regarding this awesome new truck, this one has quickly become my #1. I learn so much everytime I log on and I don't think I'll ever go back to minitruckin again!

Thanks for everyone's help, and I hope to hear from each of you as soon as I start the negotiating process post. WHOO-WHOOOO!!!!!!!

There are at least 2 more of us in the OKC area and Wichita is not that far away.

Whoever hosts this would have to do a lot of leg work to find a location and then
make sure that there are rooms for everyone.

OKC would be fine with me. I don't know anything about that area but I am willing to drive down there for a midwest function.

I nominate OkieScot to be the chairman of the 1st annual International Clubfontier.org rally

any seconds?

I'm a member of at least three other Frontier Forums, and this one is by far the most mellow! A couple have had incidents where things have gotten out of hand, but that's never happened here! This is definately a great group of Frontier owners!

Just remember when buying your frontier that getting a good price is important. But finding a dealership that you like, and a good service department with a good reputation is actually more important. One of my friends has had good luck making dealerships compete for your business.. He once test drove a truck with their price in his hand and went to the competing dealership(without the salesman) and asked them if they would sell him a truck for 200 over invoice. His point was he was ready to buy a truck right then and there and if they could do the paperwork in 2hrs then he would make 100 dollars an hour for his work. They also would have the satisfaction of selling a truck out from under another dealership.
He always seems to get his way.
Personally I went to the dealership in my area that I like and I negotiated a good deal and
went for it.

Good luck

Make a map of the members like the ClubTitan.org on the home page to find out the best place to have a club meeting.
