Anyone had any experience with the chrome stick on door handle, mirror and/or tailgate latch covers?

Just wondering if they look like crap, fall off, etc, etc.

My tailgate handle and surround look look perfect after 4 or so years but my tail light "guards" have pits in them after one winter and look trerrible up close; both are made of ABS plastic and are stick-on style.

I had some stick-on type chrome mirror covers on my last car. They lasted 5+ years and still looked fine. They take some cleaning with claybar/compound/polish to keep them looking shiny. The 3M double-sided tape never let go... until I caught the side of the garage trying to pull out, the mirror folded back (made-to), and the cover popped off.
