Hello all,
I have been looking around for some high quality but cheap rims that fit this wheel size: 16x7. So far @discountTire has the best deals on rims that fit my uncommon tires. I want the color to be black. Please suggest some other places that I can get rims from.

Here is a sample from @discountTire that I am really interested in:
( I will attach them once I find them)

I think that I will just plasti dip them

I think that the best option for me right now is just to plasti dip them. For me the rims are really still expensive.

Buy a set of used rims off of CL or even here at CF.

Thank you for your post. Here is a link to the black 16 inch wheels we have online for your Frontier although they are 16x8 or 16x8.5 if that would work for you?

There is a $50.00 instant web savings until 3-31-17 with the purchase of a set of 4 plus a $30.00 mail in rebate if you use a Discount tire Car Care One credit card.

Assume that your truck came with cheaper steel wheels. My personal favorite is to buy factory alloy wheels. Unless you get high end ones aftermarkets tend to look out of place.

THe best place to find factory "take offs" is your local craigslist (no shipping), or in the for sale section here. I have bought a set of 4 for $300. My current pathfinder wheels I bought on ebay and with shipping came out to be less than $400.

As for black, I would not plastic dip them. It does not last very long and peels easily. Instead prep and paint them. I went with a flat black on my pathy wheels. In hindsight I would have used a gloss. The flat attracts dirt.

No, thank you for offering the best deals on tires! >:D You guys are the best in the west that there is no test! ::grin:: I have bought all my tires from you guys because I know that as the customer I get the best. I changed my mind about black rims. I wanted to know if you had any "fire truck engine red" rims. Since I have a glacier white fronty with a pitch black tint job, I really do not want to add any other really dull colors. I want something to spice up my old school fronty. I think red rims would do.

Thanks @raine for the suggestion! I know that @discountTires are #1 when it comes to rims and that is why I am going for them. ::wink::

Really appreciate the tip there @Nissan4Life. ::grin:: A good friend of mine told me not to plasti dip them as they will get scratched easily. If factory alloy could come in fire truck engine red then I would buy them. I really do not want to do a paint job on my rims as I am an amateur.

Where are you located? I have a set of OEM alloy 5-spokes. Painting is easy (and cheap) when you have a spare set...

You're very welcome and nice rhymes ::grin:: Also thank you so much for your continued support of Discount Tire!

While we do have some unique fished wheels available, everything we offer for the Frontier is pretty basic; black, silver, machined, gunmetal finishes, etc. You could always pick out a style we offer then have the wheels powder coated to your liking 8)

Wow! Thanks @discountTires. I drove by your store today in my minivan and saw the big sale that they were having. The giant inflatable monkey caught my attention. Hopefully, next time I will stop by with my truck and add some "coolness" to it. ::laugh::

Texas but it is ok. I have decided not to get rims. I am happy with the OEM ones for now.

I have always liked the (industrial / military) look of the Model "S" steel wheels.
Same with me! I always liked the S Trim steel wheels and how shiny they are.:nerd: I was planning on getting red rims but now I have decided not to. Thanks for your input anyway bud::wink::
