changing daytime running lights for canadian models

Does anyone out there know how to change their daytime headlights to have the park lights come on instead? (sort of tacoma ish) on Canadian models that have the headlights that come on automatically.

having your DRL disabled isnt going to get you pulled over - thats for sure. not sure how you do it on the nissan, but on my vw is was as simple as bending the DRL pin on my light switch so the circuit never completes
