White/yellow/amber DRL's are legal in Canada. As long as you have some lights on, your all good.
My truck is USA spec brought up from washington so I have an aftermarket module that is spliced into the headlights. I do plan to switch it over from the low beams to the amber park lights. Looks better IMO and might barely make my bulbs last longer (far fetched probably).
