My truck was also brought up from the U.S. and my parking light were simply wire directly to the ignition. As stated above removal of the DRL module can cause other issues with the high beam indicator. If you simply want the look of the parking lights on wire them into the ignition but leave the DRL module as is so the both stay on. Not the same but would get close with little work.
changing daytime running lights for canadian models
Does anyone out there know how to change their daytime headlights to have the park lights come on instead? (sort of tacoma ish) on Canadian models that have the headlights that come on automatically.
