changing daytime running lights for canadian models

Does anyone out there know how to change their daytime headlights to have the park lights come on instead? (sort of tacoma ish) on Canadian models that have the headlights that come on automatically.

Hmm ...

Another American truck here, but with no DRL's, which I really like. I am very aware of road conditions, so lights are on when it calls for it.
