I’ve been looking into the Class B (non-serviced/dirt) roads south of Des Moines in Warren and Madison County (yes the bridges place...) for a weekend day trip. I hope to scout out a route in the next few weeks.

I’m more of a tread lightly guy than tear it up so would look to be a stock friendly 4x4 trip. If you are interested please post here or send me a PM, would be great to assemble a small group.

‘Earthen’ roads in green (and we all know green means go):

Sorry for the delay, been away from the forum for a while.

This Madison County route is a good one, did it on my dualsport. There is a culvert out at 225th Trail just west of Quail Ridge Trail. Wouldn't get through that in a truck but easy to go around on gravel.

I have yet to scout this route in Warren County but know others that rode it and said it was good other than a bridge that was out where you could not go through. It'll be hot enough this weekend pondering doing this vs. the motorcycle to stay in the AC.
