Decided I would finally do a build thread. I have modded this truck a ton. Its my daily driver and I also off road with it a lot especially during the summer months in colorado. You can see my adventures on my instagram ryandrby. I love to get out there mostly crawling and overlanding and while a crew cab long bed is a little hard to maneuver sometimes i love this truck! I decided to start the build thread because I'm doing a titan swap finally. Most all of my parts have come in and as soon as I get back from my business trip in a week I'm going to put it all together!

Exterior:
2" Body Lift
Hefty Fabworks Aluminum Front Bumper
Amazon LED Light bar
Plastidipped Front Grill and rear bumper

Smittybuilt XRC 9600 synthetic winch

Drivetrain:
Front R180 Lokka

Suspension & Tires:
BFG K02 285/75 R16 tires on stock wheels
Bilstein 5100 shocks on top notch
sway bar removed
Bilstein 5125 2-3" lift rear shocks
PRG double add a leaf
PRG shackles on middle setting
1.25" Wheel spacers

Titan Swap Parts List

Looks like the sibling of my truck. How high is it from the center of the wheel to the wheel well?

Measuring from the wheel hub eliminates differences due to tire brand, wear, air pressure, etc so you are only measuring suspension (and body lift, when applicable) changes

Sweet truck, getting ready to do the same exact setup. How hard were the axles extension to install?
Axles were pretty easy, I bought 2 rebuild axles off of amazon from detroit axles and pulled the center shafts out, cleaned and out back together just took an afternoon going slow.

It?s a pretty rare truck configuration and I didn?t even know that when I found it. It?s a beast sometimes on trails with the length but it?s the perfect truck for me.
Just noticed that you have a 6 speed MT. Did you swap that in or did you somehow special order it? Did not think that was factory option with the CC LB.

It was an offered configuration but no longer is offered. I couldn't tell you what years, though.

Another question for ya, I have the same front bumper as you (just in steel). I notice the gap between your hefty bumper and upper plastic piece is perfect. Did your truck come with the two piece bumper or did you cut the upper part yourself? Mine had a full plastic bumper so I cut it pretty even but it is flimsy now and will flex in the wind. This has scuffed my powder coat pretty bad and even down to bare metal in some spots where dirt cakes up. I figure this wouldn't happen if I order an upper bumper from a two piece front end model but didn't know how the gap would be with that either. I want some gap to let dirt be washed off but nothing crazy.

Yeah I had the 2 piece bumper that is half metal so I still had to do some cutting but just on the inner lip that is not exposed so nothing compared to what you had to do. Mine does not rub at all. There is a little adjustment in the bumper brackets you might try cutting a little more and moving the bumper up to match then you may end up with a little gap and it won?t rub
